Our philosophy
We built PlusProgress for one reason: to take the stress out of the 11+.
The 11+ matters to children in Year 5 and Year 6, but it too often turns into tension, late-night arguments and worry. We think practice should feel calm and steady instead: ten minutes a day, pitched at exactly the right level for your child.
How we differ
Where a lot of platforms hand over the same overwhelming, one-size-fits-all workbook, PlusProgress adapts to your child:
- Short sessions. Ten minutes a day, so focus and motivation hold up.
- Practice that meets them where they are. If a topic is tough, it eases off to build the foundations; when they’re flying, it gently stretches them.
- Kinder feedback. Progress is framed in encouraging language (“building foundations”, “flying high”) rather than cold percentages that knock confidence, alongside the standardised age score schools actually use.
Built by a working tutor
The founder is a practising 11+ tutor and runs his own weekly lessons on this platform. Features exist because real students needed them, and the first user to hit a rough edge is usually him. PlusProgress is wholly owned in the UK by the tutor who builds it, with no outside investors, and when you email support, the person who built the platform replies.
Our commitment
Every question in our bank of more than 11,000 is written and checked with care, and practice follows the formats schools actually set: GL, Quest, CSSE, FSCE and school-set papers. The same standard runs through our school pages: every fact is checked against the school’s own published admissions information, and if we cannot source something, the page says so instead of guessing.
See it before you decide
