- 1.Looked after children and all previously looked after children, including those who appear to have been in state care outside of England and ceased to be in state care as a result of being adopted;
- 2.Children with a sibling on roll at the time of admission;
- 3.Children whose parent/carer, in all staff groups, is employed by the Trust to work at the academy, where either the member of staff has been employed to work at the academy for two or more years at the time the application is made, or the member of staff is recruited to fill a vacant post for which there is a demonstrable skill shortage;
- 4.The child living closest to the school, by straight line distance calculated electronically to three figures after the decimal point by the Lincolnshire County Council school admissions team from the Post Office Address Point of the home to the Post Office Address Point of the school;
- 5.Other children. Tie-breaker: random allocation supervised by someone independent of the academy and Trust. No quotas or reserved place counts are stated for any criterion. There is no entrance test and no selection by ability at this school.
What an EHCP is: an Education, Health and Care Plan, a legal document from your council for a child with special educational needs. Where a plan names a school, that school has to offer a place, so those places are taken out of the number above before anyone else is ranked. It is not a route most families can apply through.
